Recap

Asusual I lost the interest to fill the blog. I had so much to post , hence didn't post anything. Okay , will try to put something here . Watched lot of movies last week. Worst of all as "Hostel ". Look at the rating for the movie here http://www.kids-in-mind.com/h/hostel.htm . BTW this site is a good one , to see the rating of the movie in terms of Violence and sexuality. Hostel was the yuckiest movie that ever saw in my whole life. How could a film director be so insensitive to fellow human beings thoughts . Also watched "Cidade de Deus" City of God (International: English title) . The movie was again had lot of violence but it takes one to walk through the life of the people in slums of Rio de Janeiro. It was really hard to understand the life of people in the other end of the world. However , this weeks lighter movie as "Fun with Dick and Jane". Typical Jim Carrey movie perfect for the weekend.
Last week Indian Stock Market was in bloodshed. It was a true bear dominated week. I am not going to talk more about it, its painful.This week I have to complete the Performance Appraisal for this year. The one job that I hate to do. Its such a lengthy and boring practice.There is so such change expected in the organization. But not sure what the changes are .
This weeks recipe GINGER CHICKEN . I really love to make this. Mushroom is ptional. GINGER CHICKEN Chicken shreds with mushrooms prepared in Soya - ginger sauce

INGREDIENTS
Cooked & shredded Chicken 500 gms
Dried Mushrooms 4 nos.
Finely chopped onion 1 no.
Chicken Stock ¼ ltr.
Soya Sauce ¾ cup
Fresh ginger,finely chopped 1 tbsp.
Garlic clove, crushed 1 no.
Vinegar 4 tbsp.
Sugar 1 tsp.
Cornflour 1 tbsp.
Sherry 1 tbsp.
Tomato puree 1tsp.
Pepper To taste
Salt To taste

METHOD
1. Put the Soya sauce, onion, ginger, garlic,vinegar, sugar, tomato puree, salt and pepper in asaucepan.
2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
3. Soak the dried mushrooms in warm water forhalf an hour. Then drain, rinse and cut into thinslices.
4. Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the chickenshreds. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Add the stock and the Soya sauce mixture,together with the cornflour mixed with sherry, tothe chicken.
6. Add the mushrooms and cook till saucethickens slightly.
7. Serve hot.
