Movie Madness

Came to work yesterday after a day off on Monday. Guess what !!!!! went to watch a movie at FORUM . "PUDUPETTAI". Wanted to watch the movie before reading any reviews or watching any scenes . It was so much fun to watch a movie without knowing anything about the movie. I guess that thrill is no more for movie lovers these days, with all the channels showing something or the other through out the day. To watch movies in theatres itself is so much fun. Its amazing experience. We are missing it these days by watching them in pirated DVD's at home.
Coming to the movie , it was technically way too far for normal audiences. Dhanush is filled with talents.IT was amazing to watch him. Superb portrayal of the character.
Overall the movie was good.It might be bit difficult for the normal audiences to sink with the climax. I liked the review that is written here http://www.behindwoods.com/features/Reviews/reviews1/pudhupettai/pudhupettai-review.html.

Its Friday

Finally a week has passed away without much happenings. I was to call my friend today but totally forget about it in the morning . Felt bad for it. He didn't come for chat either may be he was busy. I was trying to solve the BQ quiz http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/bq/bq060525.htm. Couldn't get the answer for the first one SANS, MAY I SHOO - Unscramble the above for a two-word name of an Asia-born entrepreneur. Will try to do on Monday. Planning take off on monday. Have to complete doctor visits. Weekend I am going to chennai , scared as its very hot.
Today's stock market was doing pretty good. Most of my investments were on the positive side. If the trend continues , next week too ,I would make some quick pennies.
Came across this poem ... though naive I liked it

Made up of memories of you
Bound together with love
Sewn with your selfless giving
Threads made of grace
Lined with thoughts of you.

Squares made of days gone by
Days we spent together
Each with a new design
Of the things that we shared.

Blanket stitches of our hearts
Mingle the squares in rows
Nothing can tear it apart
Not fire or flood or anything close.

It’s kept in a place of my keeping
The treasure chest of my heart
Wrapped in tissue of forgiveness
And tied with ribbons of love
.

Enjoy the weekend ...

Coorg - Enchanting Escape from Ennui

I'm back after a long break. I was bit tied up in the stock market hussle. I have a great piece of luck. Started my trading skills on Monday and the market got closed midday after a 1000 points drop in Sensex. What a lucky dude I am.

Coming back to the main topic, I had been to Coorg last weekend . It was an amazing trip. It was surprising to see that this place is still untouched by commercialization. We stayed in a Bungalow owned by a coffee estate owner usually referred as planter.

There are only 2 distinct classes in Coorg the PLANTERS and the LABORERS. As told by this planter with whom we stayed , a coffee plant starts its yield after 15 years since its plantation and continues to yield for 100 straight years. Amazing isn't.
We went to Iruppu Falls, Dubarae , Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary and Kushal Nagar.

Kushal Nagar is basically a Tibetan Settlement. We felt as if we went to some Buddhist Colony. Kushal Nagar has a Golden Temple where there are 3 statues of Buddha which spans to 60ft high and its in Gold . It was amazing to see it.

After a long time me and my best buddy chatted for a long time . Asusual our good old times. Its really fun to revisit old memories. One of the motivations for me to write this blog was him 'cos he said he reads them.Hopefully I will be regular and not let him down. Its really nice to have someone with whom you can be yourself inspite of so many differences between the individuals.Hopefully I don't loose this person too because of my poor skills to stay in touch.

I read a quote somewhere which sounded something like this "Life has lot of surprises for you and it will unfold each of it as you pass by". Trust me , this is really true , When you think this is the end , life opens up another surprise for you. I have personally felt this.

Sometimes when you look back and think , there are somethings which could have changed your whole life. It did happen to me , I am not sure if what I have now is the best or the one I missed is the best but at the end of the day I am very Happy with what I have now. Since that's what everyone is aiming at , then I am happy with my current decision.

For this weeks receipe I have another non-veg dish. My buddy has asked me for some veg dishes. Frankly speaking I don't really find any fun in doing a veggie dish . However the below receipe can be used by Vegetarians - Replace the chicken with Paneer, Cauliflower or Combination of French Beans,Potato and Carrot.
